Tari Trowbridge, CFP®, CLU®, MBA

Owner/Financial Consultant

A lifelong saver, I’ve always believed that the richest man is not the one who has the most, but who needs the least.

I’ve been helping individuals and families navigate changes in their financial lives since 1992. I see my clients through the unique sets of challenges that come with life events like career changes, the death of a loved one, marriage, babies, divorce, inheritance, and more.

My goal is to take the worry out of my client’s finances and deliver actionable, client-specific solutions so he or she can truly enjoy the aspects of life that are important.

Professional Background

In addition to an extensive background with all types of investments, my experience at Prudential Insurance gives me the ability to analyze life insurance plans.

Additionally, 16 years of working in a banking environment allowed me to see many different people in a great variety of circumstances, creating a breadth of knowledge I can apply to current and new clients alike.

I started Trowbridge & Co. Wealth Management Group in 2014 as a way to continue that service independently, locally, and with the freedom to work with less “bottom-line” pressure.

Qualifications

Continuous industry education is extremely important to me as well as keeping abreast on current trends, regulations, and products.

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional
  • Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) Designee
  • Moderator for Life Underwriter Training Council classes. These classes, as well as annually required continuing education classes, not only educate in important changes but allow me to interact with other professionals and learn what they are doing and thinking as well.
  • BS in marketing from Pennsylvania State University (Go, Lions!)
  • MBA from the University of Maryland
  • Past member of the Wyalusing Area School Board

The Personal Side

My husband, Thor, and I are lifelong residents of Bradford/Wyoming County and currently reside in Laceyville.

With five children between us (Cody, Zach, Tim, Pam, and Jack) and several granddaugters (Mia, Elena, Freya, and Torvi) we enjoy the dynamics of a large family. We love traveling and have been to many countries, which has led to an appreciation of other cultures.

At home, I’ve taken my time learning to cook healthy gourmet meals with the idea that if I have to eat healthily, then I’m going to enjoy it. I also like participating in competitive races (triathlons, mud runs, and other running events).

Abigail Borel

Client Relationship Manager

Abigail (Abby) Borel began officially working with us full-time in May 2018 as our customer relationship manager.  She graduated from Wyalusing Area High School and from Keystone College where she received a bachelor’s degree in business.  Abby’s long-term goal is to get licensed and credentialed and begin meeting with clients.

Abby enjoys spending time with her dog, Jax, as well as her family and friends.  She actively spends her spare time training and riding horses as well as competing in horse shows.  Abby also completed the Scranton Half Marathon in April of 2018.  If you get a chance, stop in and meet her!

Dutchess

Chief Fetch Officer

Harmless (and a true people-lover at heart) Dutchess will likely bark at you initally, but it won't take long for her to warm right up. As soon as she figures out that you're a friend, plan to prioritize paying attention to this wonderful girl.

Interests: frisbee, fetch, and long companion runs

Gracie

Meany Weeny

A truly good egg, Gracie is not a lover of human people. Upon visiting the office, you will likely be greeted by not-so-tiny growls and barks (a bad habit picked up from her big sister, Dutchess) and throughout your stay you will be very closely monitored. A bit of an odd duck, Gracie likely will not warm up to you even if you're here for a while. Please keep in mind: she is small, but trying to make a name for herself in this big world.

Interests: sitting in Tari's lap, her noon-time walk, skepticism

Jax

Office Greeter

Described by his peers as "super chill," this boy will welcome you to the office, ensure you have what you need, and return to his mat to watch from afar.

Interests: love, pats on the head, attention
